My 1987 Dodge Shelby Charger Is Peak Weird 80's

Driving an old car isn’t about being practical. It isn’t about speed, or specs, or what the internet thinks you should own. It’s about driving something that makes you feel something — even if other people think it’s strange. Today I’m taking out my 1987 Dodge Shelby Charger Turbo, one of the quirkiest and most overlooked cars of the 1980s. It’s not perfect, it’s not fast by modern standards, and it’s definitely not what most people would daily drive… but that’s the point. In this video, I talk about the joy of driving something from an era when cars were simple, mechanical, lightweight, and full of character. Cars like this remind us why the 80s and 90s were such a special time for car enthusiasts — and why not every car you love has to make sense on paper. If you miss the analog feel of older cars, love 80s/90s nostalgia, or just enjoy seeing unusual classics still on the road, you’ll enjoy this. Thanks for watching — and for keeping old cars alive. 👇Join the community of people like us!
