There has been a major breakthrough in the crisis in Syria. The United States and Turkey agreed to a cease fire in Northeastern Syria Thursday, giving Kurdish forces 5 days to withdraw from the area. The agreement was reached after a meeting between Turkey's President, Vice President Mike Pence, and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.
