IED ATTACK BY NAXALS IN CHHATTISGARH TAKES LIFE OF 11 DRG PERSONNEL

11 District Reserve Guard (DRG) personnel were killed after an IED attack was carried out by Naxals. The Tragic incident took place at Chhattisgarh's Dantewada near Aranpur on April 26. The attack was carried out on a vehicle carrying the District Reserve Guard (DRG) personnel. The anti-insurgent unit were out for an anti-Naxal operation when they were ambushed. Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel expressed condolences over the brutal attack. He also assured that the insurgents will not be spared. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also condemned the Naxal attack & expressed his condolence to the lost soul. The mortal remains of the deceased security personnel are being evacuated from the spot. Meanwhile, search operation to hunt down the militants is underway .
