Rodolfo Sulia made it 4-1 right before the half with a header in the 42' off a service from Wilfredo Rivera. The play originated from a corner kick, as Rivera played off Isaac Angking on the short pass prior to making the precise cross towards the far post. Puerto Rico remained on the offensive in the second half but Bahamas goalkeeper Vance Wheaton kept the scoreline intact with saves in the 72' and 73', generating from a long range attempt followed by the ensuing corner kick. But Burgos collected his second goal of the night in the 86' with a laser striker from inside the penalty ark.
