Mitch McConnell positive there won't be U.S. government shutdown

U.S. Senate leaders spoke on Tuesday about the looming government shutdown after Republican leader Mitch McConnell said Democrats turned down an offer to prevent a shutdown. During the press conferences, McConnell said he believed despite Democrats turning the offer down, he was "convinced" a government shutdown wouldn't happen.
