Painting - Cosmos - Wet on Wet - Composition Practice

Welcome! In this session we are painting a bit of a space scene. A Saturn inspired planet with fields of glowing gasses in the background, stars scattered about and a lone comet on a journey to the unknown. This is another black canvas painting process. Result: This one could have been better. A bit more planning, a bit more practice would have helped a lot in creating a better painting. Also, this is a re-used canvas and I did not spend enough time on the surface prep allowing some of the texture from the original painting underneath to show through. I will take these as lessons and move forward. Improvement is a journey and this is just one step along the way. What result did you get? Were you satisfied with it? Calming and can build confidence when you see what beautiful worlds you can create with your own hands.
