The Beatles George Harrison's Red Les Paul "Lucy" falls down!!!
The guitar was nick named "Lucy" after Lucille Ball who was well known for her vivid red dyed hair. Both the guitar and she started out as blonds though as the guitar was originally a 1957 Goldtop Les Paul that was first owned by Rick Derringer, next by John Sebastian and eventually owned by Eric Clapton who gifted it to George Harrison in exchange for George's then wife Patty Boyd!! As Andy Griffith famously sang, "A mama guitar beats a woman every time!"
