Penn State at Auburn features two coaches in must-win mode early with the need to prove themselves and a treacherous back half still ahead. NC State vs Clemson could very well determine a division and whether either team is able to accomplish their ultimate 2022 goals. South Carolina vs Arkansas in week 2 is off the national radar but very much on the radar of two fan bases who believe their programs are still in ascension mode. BYU vs Oregon could find either team in must-win mode already, but also could find either team flying high after a win over either UGA or Baylor.
