"I trained with Manny for Miguel Cotto and then also again for Shane Mosley, so I've got a lot of rounds under my belt with Manny Pacquiao and a lot of experience, but I think more than anything it just makes me comfortable again fighting a southpaw with some quick hands and some quick feet," stated top welterweight contender Shawn Porter, who shared his thoughts on his upcoming December 7 clash with IBF welterweight champion Devon Alexander during a recent conference call. As far as Porter is concerned, his time as one of Manny Pacquiao's chief sparring partners was extremely beneifical in preparing him to face another quick southpaw in Alexander.
