Thermite fire using sand instead of iron oxide.
Use 10 parts sand, 11 parts Aluminum powder, 12 parts sulfur (the sulfur can be obtained from a garden store as 90% sulfur that will work just fine). Can be lit with flame, no magnesium needed. Si02 + Al = Si + Al2O3 (balancing left as an exercise...)
