(9 Sep 2020) The leaders of Austria, the Czech Republic and Slovakia said they are all in favour of a coordinated, EU-wide "traffic light system" to better control the spread of the coronavirus. Speaking at the Slavkov-3 summit in Vienna on Wednesday, Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz called the idea "good" but "that it should better arrive quickly." Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babis announced that his country would be making wearing masks in indoor situations mandatory again following a rise in COVID-19 cases. All three leaders said they would try to keep the borders between their countries open "as long as possible".
