Far Cry 5 (Xbox One X) (Dead Living Zombies DLC - Part 1) Fields of Terror & Burned Bridges
My next gameplay walkthrough series will feature the Dead Living Zombies DLC within the game Far Cry 5. The DLC in this game is quite thematically varied and I also found it to be quite enjoyable. This DLC came out on August 28th, 2018. It was developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft. In this video, I play through the Fields of Terror and Burned Bridges movie pitches. The Dead Living Zombies DLC revolves around a filmmaker named Guy Marvel who is willing to do practically anything to chat with other famed directors and produces in order to pitch his movie ideas to them. There are 7 movie pitches in total and every single pitch revolves around zombies (with each pitch being more over the top than the last). Each pitch is introduced through a comic book style cutscene where Guy Marvel attempts to deliver his move pitch to a famed director or producer. After each intro the player is dropped into the movie pitch itself with Guy narrating the plot as you go. This DLC was definitely a nice shift in the oversaturated zombie game space. Even though the whole DLC revolves around zombies each pitch was at least varied enough that it was worth playing through at least once. There really isn't much replayability here (other than improving upon your previous score or unlocking a few extras), but it was worth playing through to the end.
