Nayanthara Agreed Ramcharan Demands Sye Raa Movie Updates Chiranjeevi, Surender Reddy Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy is an upcoming Indian historical war film directed by Surender Reddy and produced by Ram Charan on Konidela Production Company banner. The story is based on the life of freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy from Rayalaseema. The film stars Chiranjeevi, Sudeep, Vijay Sethupathi, Jagapati Babu, Nayanthara, Tamannaah, and Brahmaji. Filming began in Hyderabad on 6 December 2017. Amitabh Bachchan will make a guest appearance. Set 10 years prior to the India's first war of independence of 1857, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy is the story of a freedom fighter, Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, who revolted against the British.On 26 June 2017 Ram Charan announced that filming would begin in August 2017 and would be directed by Surender Reddy. Charan is producing the film under the Konidela Productions banner. A.R.Rahman was initially signed to do the music, but later opted out because of date issues.[citation needed] Surender Reddy roped in Amit Trivedi after holding discussions with Ilaiyaraaja and M.M. Keeravani. Ravi Varman was initially signed to do Cinematography, but later opted out because of date issues. Later, R. Rathnavelu was replaced under Ravi Varman to do the Cinematography. Rajeevan was signed to do Production Designing.
