Pakistan Airstrike on Kabul Hospital Kills 400 | Taliban Condemns Attack as Crime Against Humanity

A Pakistan airstrike on a drug rehabilitation hospital in Kabul has killed 400 people and injured over 250, according to Taliban officials. Suhail Shaheen, spokesperson of the Afghanistan government, condemned the attack as a 'crime against humanity', stating that the facility was clearly marked as an AIDS Rehabilitation Centre. He invited journalists and diplomats to visit the site and witness the destruction for themselves. Pakistan has denied targeting a hospital, claiming it only struck military targets. Shaheen rejected Pakistan's justification that it was targeting safe havens of the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), asserting that only civilians have been killed. He stated that Afghanistan has consistently offered diplomatic solutions, including written assurances and monitoring mechanisms to prevent the use of Afghan soil against any country, but Pakistan chose a military approach instead.
