He is the one who is to come (lion, calf, man, eagle) Four living creatures: angels (primary symbol), Jesus symbol (king, sacrifice, man, God), the four gospels / Eyes full (seeing everything) Holy X 3, perfect, triune God / Almighty, before, now, and to come! / 6 Wings: Isaiah Isaiah 6:1-2 1 In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up, with the train of his robe filling the temple. 2 Above him stood seraphim, each with six wings. Isaiah 6:3 3 They called one to another, saying, “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord Almighty; the whole earth is full of his glory!” Praise: The Lord sat on a throne on high (Holy, holy, the Lord Almighty) Revelation 7:9-10 9 After this I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, tribe, people, and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands. 10 And they cried out with a loud voice, ‘Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!’ ~ Tribes: Household, People: people, Dialect: language - all, without exception God is Jesus, Jesus is the cross, salvation through faith in Jesus alone, white garments ~ We will praise in that place Praise: We are gathered before the throne Zephaniah 3:17 17 The Lord your God is in your midst, the Almighty who will save. He will rejoice over you with gladness; He will quiet you with His love; He will exult over you with singing. ~ God in our midst, who provides salvation, ~ God who delights in His saved children, ~ Silences love, English – silences speech, calls us joyfully. Praise: The Lord your God Habakkuk 2:4b 4b The righteous will live by his faith. Romans 1:17b 7b As it is written, "The righteous will live by his faith." Hebrews 10:38 38 But my righteous one will live by faith. And if anyone shrinks back, I have no pleasure in him. ~ We are saved by faith in God. / Righteous: Those who believe in God (the Word), salvation through faith alone, faith alone! / Even after being saved, we live by faith. Together, Love, Guidance, Protection, Provision Praise: The World Shakes (Only by Faith) Habakkuk 3:17-18 17 Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, 18 Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my Savior. ~ Always rejoicing because I have been saved, especially rejoicing in God, regardless of circumstances ~ God's command: Rejoice always or be ungrateful, complaining, distant, negative people Nehemiah 8:10b 10b "The joy of the Lord is your strength." Praise: The fig leaves wither and... Habakkuk 3:2 2 Lord, I have heard the report of you and was afraid. Lord, revive your work in the midst of the years, in the midst of the years make it known.
