The Digger's M113 is not the same as the U.S. M113, besides the noticeable turret, it has six roadwheels per side compared to the five on the U.S. APC (Armored/Armoured Personnel Carrier). It is officially retired from Aussie service, yet there have been numerous delays in choosing a replacement (finally, in 2023 it was announced that NATO-Germany's Reinmetall will build the new APC in Australia).
