What if Bobby's boulder never crushed Olivia in Paper Mario Origami King? (Save file editing)
Today we complete Paper Mario: The Origami King out of order by editing the game's save file: we skip past the part of the game where Olivia is crushed by the boulder and we see what happens if we have to rescue Olivia while still having Olivia with us! Olivia has some very insightful and appropriate dialogue while aboard the Princess Peach Cruise Ship if we skip the part of the game where she gets crushed by a boulder with Bobby and Mario in Sweetpaper Valley. Here's what happens in Paper Mario: The Origami King if Olivia is never crushed by the boulder, and we skip to the Princess Peach Cruise Ship with both Bobby and Olivia! This was done as an experiment for testing the potential of a speedrun skip to see what would happen if we could clip past the debris in the Princess Peach Cruise Ship. I went to the Great Sea with Bobby and Olivia, and got to the Princess Peach cruise ship. I couldn't access the left side of the ship because of the debris that was blocking it. I teleported into the VIP room. I still had Olivia and Bobby with me. Bobby went to get the safe, and the Gooper Blooper stole the box, as normal. I still had Olivia with me after this, and Bobby had his regular angry face. Olivia had some funny dialogue. Defeated the Gooper Blooper as normal and got the box. I went back to Toad Town. Pipe 3 was still blocked in the museum, so I went back to Shogun Studios. The blue streamer was still blocking the path to Sweetpaper Valley.
