Boss JLBM periodically removes all debuffs on him, which can only be broken with a special with a combo count greater than 25. Therefore, I fielded heroes that aren't so dependent on applying debuffs. If possible, try to allow him to gain some stacks of toughness, and then break it with a 25 combo count special. I am generally a FREE TO PLAY player, so I don't own powerful artifacts like beta club, sword of sin & salvation. I work with whatever that is given free.
