REVIVAL Of More RARE PARTS - Metal Working A 1955 Chevy Nomad Tail Gate

I'm deep, deep down the expensive Nomad road. All these parts are re-produced but at absolutely ridiculous prices. A bare tail gate shell is almost $1500 and out of stock anywhere I looked. Luckily my labor is cheap and scrap steel is free. After a few hours of cutting, welding and grinding we had a presentable tail gate. One part I regret not replacing was the tail pan. The pan was rust free so my first instinct was to pull and straighten it. Not saying I made the wrong decision but looking back I think a new replacement panel would have been a wise choice.
