Is it the best? nope. Is it the cheapest? also nope. Does it have a purpose? not really. Is it confusing to the casual observer? YES. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Parts List: MoBo: AAEON EMB-B75A CPU: i3-3240 [liquid metal TIM] CPU cooler: Arctic Alpine 12 Passive RAM: 16GB (2x8) 1333MHz GPU: EVGA GT 1030, low profile, passive PSU: PicoPSU M3-ATX SSD: Crucial BX500 1TB Total Cost: ~$490 [including all misc. parts] ------------------------------------------------------------------- This system is my daily. It's good enough for doing almost everything, just...somewhat slowly. Also, I lied in the video on the width of the case --- it's 10" :P Plays GW2 at Med-High settings (1080P) at 60FPS in low-pop areas, though the presence of lots of players requires a downgrade in graphics to keep up the FPS. Plays Osu! at the recommended 480FPS with video off, otherwise I use power-saving mode (120FPS) when videos are left on. Runs Solidworks, Resolve, and Krita (my primary production programs) without major hiccups. The CPU is very well-matched to the GPU for the titles I play.
