Fourth Sunday of Lent Year A (Laetare Sunday)

Fourth Sunday of Lent Year A (Laetare Sunday)

As we draw closer to the Climactic point of our Faith, the celebration of the Easter Festivities, the Church invites us to rejoice because of the milestone we have attained in our Lenten journey, because our salvation is closer than when we first began. That is to say that the celebration of the Event that saved and is saving us is indeed close at hand. Whilst we rejoice, like the blind man in today’s Gospel we pray that the Lord to may open our eyes and grant us his vision so that we may not judge by or look at appearance, but like Him look beyond the way things present or appear. It is only when our eyes are enlightened by him could we become light in the world guiding others to the True Light. Find out more and blessed as you listen. Happy Laetare Sunday. God bless.
