Like with the Red Rocket, I could only decorate each section separately to ensure the game didn't crash. This has been a settlement Idea I've had for years. I struggled to figure out what I wanted to do with the primary building. Then after seeing the statues of the creatures in the USO mod, I thought to turn the Visitor's Center into a museum that showcases and teaches visitors on all aspects of the Far Harbor island. There's the VIM section, the cove of the Harmor people, the section for the Children of Atom, a section for the Synth commune, a section about the history of the old world military presence on the island, and, of course, a section for the dangerous creatures on the island. Unce Ken still lives at the Visitor's Center and is the museum's curator. I figure there's no one better, other than Longfellow, who knows more about the island and its inhabitants than Ken. Even if he crudely speaks about them all. He lives on the second floor of the museum. Then, I had to figure out what to do for the parking lot. I settled on a circular market because when tourists of the island come to see the museum, they'd likely want to do some shopping before leaving. I made sure to include every type of shop and I wanted the town to feel structured yet scrappy. Most of the store owners live in the housing above or connected to their shops. The clothing store owner lives with the armor store owner. the housing units in the back are basically cheap apartments in the town for the farming residents. The house with the open deck outside the walls belongs to the settlement provisionors. The houses above the Chems bus belong to the barber and owner of the Visito's Restaurant. I got the idea to turn that structure into an incloses restaurants from someone else's Visto's Centers settlement build, but I, for the life of me, cannot remember or find his channel. The Minutemen, of course, are protecting the settlement. Their barracks is the step-structured building with a relaxation patio in the back that also acts as a guard station. And, yes, I deliberately place my recruitment building near the main entrance to be more enticing for the tourists.
