Over a decade of conflict in Syria: How the Red Cross is helping

It’s been over 10 years since the beginning of the conflict in Syria. Today, more than 13 million people are in need of humanitarian assistance. The Syrian Arab Red Crescent has been working on the frontline across Syria since before the conflict started and continues to provide critical humanitarian assistance. Working closely with the Syrian Arab Red Crescent, and with support from Global Affairs Canada, the Canadian Red Cross is supporting the health needs of people in vulnerable situations in Syria.
