Russian Soyuz rocket successful launches with Crew to International Space Station

Russian actress Yulia Peresild, producer Klim Shipenko and cosmonaut Anton Shkaplerov launched to the International Space Station atop a Soyuz 2.1a rocket on Oct. 5, 2021. They will film the first feature-length movie in space. The Soyuz MS-19 rocket with three Russian crewmates aboard launched at 4:55 a.m. EDT today to the station under clear blues skies in Kazakhstan.
