Showcasing an approach with Dr. Mario in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate that I do not see too many Dr. Mario players use yet. Its something that shouldn't be heavily relied upon since it can be risky if your opponent expects it, but it can be rewarding to catch certain movement options or tech options. Even if pill hits shield, the opponent may drop shield in order to attack, and then they get hit with the falling up air, which depending on the percent, can even lead into a grab.
