Mountain Ghost Town Abandoned Castletown Montana. Part 1 Historic Montana.

Well preserved Castle Montana. Incorporated in 1891 after silver was discovered and the first mine was registered in 1888. A total of 991 claims were located in the area. At it's height there were approximately 1500 residents at Castle. The silver panic of 1893 caused a rapid death of the beautiful mining town. As late as 1900 there were still about 350 people living in the Castle area. I apologize for the abrupt ending. My battery died. I may add to the video at a later date.
