Afghanistan Aftermath: Government security troops quash Taliban's attack on Kabul's airport

A band of assailants have launched an attack against the military side of Kabul International Airport before dawn on, firing rocket-propelled grenades and small-arms fire before being overwhelmed by Afghanistan security forces. The attack forced authorities to cancel flights and sent military personnel and residents running for cover in one of the most heavily guarded sectors of the capital.
