We will be looking at anxiety from the perspectives of mental, physical and nutritional health. Learn how to get the most comprehensive approach to managing cancer related anxiety from a whole person approach to health. About the presenters: Iryna Singh, MSN, FNP-BC is an Oncology Nurse Practitioner. She has extensive clinical experience of inpatient and ambulatory care of cancer patients. She is certified as an Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse Practitioner is Oncology Certified. She works collaboratively and independently providing care for patients undergoing cancer treatments including but not limited to chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and supportive therapy. She has experience caring for patients on clinical trials. Special interests include: immunotherapy, managing adverse events, patient education about cancer and treatment. Svetlana Akoyeva, MS, RD, CSO, CDCES, is a Clinical Dietitian with the Patient and Family Support program of Cedars Sinai Cancer at The Angeles Clinic and Research Institute. Svetlana has been working in oncology since graduating with her Master’s degree from CSUN Northridge in 2012 and has earned advanced certifications in Oncology Nutrition and Diabetes Care. She works collaboratively with medical team providing nutrition intervention for patients during treatment, and nutrition education on risk reduction life style intervention post treatment healing & recovering. Jennifer Drew, MSW, LCSW, OSW-C, ACHP-SW, SEP is a Clinical Social Worker with the Patient and Family Support program of Cedar Sinai Cancer at The Angeles Clinic and Research Institute. Jennifer has been working in oncology since graduating with her Master’s degree from USC in 2015 and has earned advanced certifications in oncology and hospice palliative care with a passion for incorporating therapeutic mindfulness and trauma counseling skills in her work.
