Head to SimpleNursing’s OFFICIAL website here: https://bit.ly/47RQncK We're back with another pharmacology music video! This one is all about angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors – what they do, their mechanism of action, and related side effects. ACE is an enzyme that helps the body break down proteins and produces angiotensin II (a hormone that causes blood vessels to constrict), which helps to regulate blood pressure. ACE inhibitors lower blood pressure and reduce the risk of heart attack, stroke, and kidney disease.
