I love You above all things, and I desire to receive You into my soul. Since I cannot at this moment receive You sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You. Never permit me to be separated from You. Amen. A PROJECT for the CHILDREN: This month of May is traditionally seen as Mary’s month so we are inviting the children of the parish to produce a picture featuring Our Lady. The picture can be based on any event where Our Lady was present either according to the gospels, the Mysteries of the Rosary, apparitions (e.g. Lourdes or Fátima), or just the child’s imagination. The picture should be A4 in size but can be done in any media, pencil, paint, collage, etc. When we are able to reassemble at church we will display the pictures in the parish room, but before that please send a copy or photo of the work, as a JPEG file (large file size appreciated!), to Deacon Cyril at [email protected] and the handiwork will appear on the parish website. Please include the first name and age of the artist. No surnames will appear on the website. Last date for sending copies: Friday 29th May.
