Cavetown "Hug all ur friends" Ukulele Tutorial

ABOUT THE TUNING: The song is originally in standard tuning, but pitched up a fraction of a semitone. I tuned my uke by ear to match, but if you're having trouble getting yours to the right pitch, here's a version with the audio pitched down to standard tuning.    • Cavetown "Hug all ur friends" Ukulele Tuto...   ------ Here's a version with just me playing and no vocals:    • Cavetown "Hug all ur friends" Ukulele Tuto...   ------ Fingers are numbered starting with your index finger as 1. Finger placement is subjective. What's used here is the standard, but depending on your grip and the size of your hand, there may be better options, especially for the am6 and fm chords. If you're observant, you might notice that during the intro (and the whistling section at 3:53), there's some extra notes I didn't include. I didn't want to overwhelm beginer players and elected not to include them. On the high c, play the a string on the 8th fret on the last strum before the chord change, and on the g6/11, play the a string on the 5th fret on the last strum. The picking at the end is just playing down the fm chord from the a string to e string to c string in rhythm with the melody. ------ Thanks for all the support on the last tutorial! I will try to make more. Leave a comment if you have song suggestions or ways to improve the video format.
