Almost Great... almost - LEGO Marvel Super Heroes Rhino and Sandman Super Villain Team-up (76037)
I'm incredibly excited for Spider-Man 2 releasing this year. I adore Insomniac as a developer and all their games as some of my all time favourite for the PlayStation platform. And it happens that I also adore Spider-Man like many so this is a winning combo for me personally. In my excitement, I wanted to go over my favourite LEGO Spider-Man sets from across all medias. The movies and the comic based sets, Spider-Man has had some great ups and some low downs. But I won't be going over the weaker entries here, this is all about excitement. Today I'm covering a set from an idea I have always loved in Super Heroes - Fighting in a Construction Site. It disappoints me that this isn't an idea more regularly made and capitalised on because to me it feels like a no brainer. Here we have Rhino and Sandman, two of Spider-Man's famous foes and needed to expand the collection. I bought this set years ago now to better improve the Daily Bugle set but it is a set I still enjoy despite the flaws and despite the fact that my set isn't complete.
