These come attractively presented in a cardboard box with a slip of yellow ribbon to lift the cards out. I am impressed with the number of illustrations in the box. All the illustrations are printed on good quality white card stock. The back is blank without the usual address lines that are on postcards. This does not bother me at all because I think they are too pretty to color and post. I would personally color them and frame them. One of the advantages of the box that the cards are packed in is that you can also use it as a resting place to color your cards. The images are not exact replicas from the book (as many of these are double sided) instead they often feature a part of the image that is contained in the book. The illustrator has very fine detailed drawings and the postcards are no different. I find it necessary to get out my magnifying lamp before I attempt to get between the lines. If you are using pencils you will need to sharpen them to get in all the crevices of the detail and if you prefer markers they will mostly need to be a fine tip. The Product Dimensions are: 6.9 x 5.1 x 1.1 inches. An added bonus is once you have finished coloring the loose cards you can color the box.
