Indigenous Food Sovereignty Within the Urban Context

Presenters: Robert Durocher, Adrienne Plumley & Tanya Senk This presentation will focus on the development of an urban Indigenous food sovereignty program guided and supported by the Elders Council through the Urban Indigenous Education Centre at the TDSB. Participants will learn about how the program centres Indigenous ways of knowing and being through wholistic (mind, body, heart and spirit) approaches and works with and learns from Indigenous community partners.
