Kyosho Mini Z 4x4 4Runner #1 - Injora Tire Test

I bought a Mini Z off of Facebook Marketplace. I've had if for a few days and each day I've been building a different set of wheels and tires for testing to see which ones are going to work the best. So, technically, this video is from Wednesday evening when I tried out these Injora tires and plastic beadlock rims. While not bad, they're not the softest tire. They do help the steering on the Mini Z by not being so wide. It's far less load on the thing when turning on rocks. The rubber compound is a little more firm, so it has the tendency to slip instead of grabbing traction in some situations. While it has great tread, the firmness of the rubber compound doesn't really allow it to bite in the way you would want it to. I could see these tires working great on sand and dirt but wet rocks or any wet surface at all would be challenging. The ride height is a little high and they also bind up in the wheel wells. I have no intentions of trimming the body to fit. I'll keep searching for the best combo for the truck out of what I have.
