Vincent Owners Club V.O.C. annual rally 2022

V.O.C. Vincent owners club meet up galena IL 2022 Vincent Motorcycles was a British manufacturer of motorcycles from 1928 to 1955. The business was established by Philip Vincent, who bought an existing manufacturing name HRD, initially renaming it as Vincent HRD, producing his own motorcycles we went to Galena, Illinois for our vacation and as we pulled into the parking lot I spotted an old motorcycle on a trailer and to my surprise, it was an egli-Vincent, as I was admiring the bike a man walked up and said to me so you like the Vincents and I replied absolutely, I asked is this your's, and he said no, I have the black shadow and he pointed at a Vincent black shadow I hadn't seen, well I was shocked by two Vincents in the same parking lot what great luck. I then asked if I could take a photo of his bike, but he said to wait until the next day which caused me to say what was going on then and he said to my surprise that there shall be 45 to 50 more arriving by then. the idea of being able to see 45 or so unique pieces of motorcycle history in one place was overwhelming and very exciting but it got better. the next day along with the Vincent motorcycles was a lawnmower and a air compressor as well as a motorized bike Vincent made called a firefly, sometimes you hit gold without even trying, this was a lucky find by me and i can't thank the club enough, they were amazing and were so kind, the motorcycles are what this club is about but it's the members that truly make it special, special thanks to sherry for being my guide and answering all my questions
