Thousands Test Positive In Kumbh, 2 Akharas Withdraw But When Will Govt End the Mela?

Over 2,780 people have tested positive for Covid-19 in Kumbh Mela area since April 10. Uttarakhand recorded over 2,220 new cases on April 15, the biggest single-day spike so far. Dehradun and Haridwar districts have emerged as the major hotspots in the state. According to the notification, the Kumbh Mela started on April 1st and will continue till this month-end.
