Cisco packet tracer case study Design for Oxford and London office networks

Your client has two separate locations for their business, one in London which is the Headquarters and the other in Oxford which is concerned with sales and marketing. Both the Oxford and London office networks are shown in figure 1. The client wants you to improve the networks both at London and Oxford. After the discussions with the Managing Director and the Technical director for the company, you have obtained the following requirement specifications. 1. Security in communicating between London and Oxford is very important as is the cost of providing this secures communication. 2. The volume of communications between Oxford and London is governed by corporate needs and these are, • E-mails between Sales and Headquarters. This can be pretty heavy at peak times and needs to be secure and reliable. • Oxford has a lot of Video clips that they need to look at for marketing purposes. Occasionally these are streamed to London Headquarters. • Headquarters is keen to allow senior staff in Oxford direct access to some corporate information on their servers. However they want this to be strictly controlled so that only the senior management group can access this information. The managing director wants him and the technical director to have access to everything in both locations. • The technical director is adamant that he wants complete access to all Back-Up information. 3. Improvement should be made to the Figure 1 to separate different department to different VLANs to increase the security. Network devices might need to be updated to fulfil these. The departments of the company are Human Resource, ICT, Management in the headquarter site; Sales, Marketing, Communication, ICT etc. in the sales and marketing site. 4. Within the company, the private IP should be used to cut the costs. ping me on whatsaap if you have any question : +92 343 9293686
