Highlights of the 2006 Turin Winter Olympics

As Vancouver 2010 is nearing, I thought it would be a good idea to share these highlights made by the CBC 2006 Winter Olympics team. These are beautiful images accompanied by an equally beautiful song and I think it sums up well what the Olympics and sports are all about. Joy, pain, tears, smiles, screams, surpassing mental and physical limits but most importantly, human experiences that last a lifetime. The focus is of course on the Canadian team but there's a lot of images of other memorable moments that don't necessarily include Canadian athletes, which is what I like about this montage. I hope you enjoy it. I'm sorry about the image quality, I had this on VHS and there's an annoying ticking sound :-( If anyone knows how I could get rid of it, feel free to tell me and I'll re-capture and re-upload.
