Tropical Storm Cristobal Stalling over Campeche - 11:30pm EDT June 3, 2020

Cristobal is now inland over the Campeche region of Mexico after making a rare landfall in the state earlier today as a strong tropical storm. Although it has now entered a weakening trend, the fact that Cristobal, the broader gyre and remnants of Tropical Storm Amanda have been in the area for the better part of a week now means that copious amounts of rain have already fallen, and upwards of 16 inches of rain is still possible in localized regions.
