Crash 3 - Tomb Time: Purple Gem skip

Oh my god, I didn't believe this would be possible at all but here I am now with the evidence :D At first the jump seemed to be impossible, I made it just over the halfway. Then I remembered that speed boots give some distance for the jumping. I went off to beat Cortex and got the shoes and tried again: still not enough. I was about to give up when I remembered the zig zag jumping which also gives a little more distance to your jumps. I went really close one time and from that point on, I was sure it would be possible with a perfect jump. Dozens of lives later I actually made it. To make it over, you have to have the double jump, the superspin and the speed shoes. When jumping, you have to slidespinjump at the very end of the slide, double jump at the last possible frames and start superspinning after you've gained some momentum with the double jump. You also have to do slight zig zag movement back and forth since it isn't possible without it. This is the hardest jump in the series, no doubt about it though it looks quite easy in this video. It's still worth it since you can get the route completion gem and the box gem in a single visit without needing to come back after getting the purple gem. Just remember, you have to do it twice in order to get the early box gem x_x After the jump in the video Crash checked that his precious bazooka didn't drop in the middle of the jump ololo
