TCW | SWATTING - 20 Year Sentence

A man, Tyler Barriss, from LA, was sentenced yesterday to 20 years in prison for swatting which resulted in an unsuspecting, innocent, man being fatally shot by Witchita police. Swatting is a very serious issue going on in the online gaming community. And it's not just swatting. We have seen in the recent past where big names have been targeted as well. DrDisrespect had his house shot at. Here at Team Cyber Warfare we want to make sure that folks are aware of these things. We would like start a dialogue with others who see the seriousness of this issue so that we can, collectively, come up with some precautions to keep people safe while enjoying their favorite past time. Some of you are kids, some young people, and some are old enough to have kids that game. Spread the word, engage with us, share your thoughts and ideas so that we can hopefully prevent something terrible from happening or wake people up to what's going on around them in their virtual space and/or their children.
