Medical expert believes carbon monoxide was contributing factor in George Floyd's death | FOX 9 KMSP

The defense called Dr. David Fowler, a retired forensic pathologist, to the stand Wednesday to testify in the Derek Chauvin trial. Fowler said he believes Floyd breathed in chemical exhaust from the squad car while he was being restrained on the ground. He does not believe carbon monoxide killed Floyd, but said it was a significant contributing factor in his death because it robbed him of his extra oxygen capacity.
