Stig Inge Bjornebye Tribute

Stig Inge Bjornebye Tribute

Just a quick compilation. Bjornebye was a proto-Riise. He had a similar tenacity and delivered so many exquisite balls to Fowler, Owen, Collymore, et al. He played for Liverpool from 1992 to 2000 and recently transitioned to management. I've always believed he was unfairly portrayed by the media. He was a functional, competent defender who deserves a better legacy (that might be a biased statement because he was one of my all-time favourite players - meh :-p). He still thinks fondly of the club and gave a Riise-esque refusal to capitulate at one stage when Roy Evans (or Houllier?) marginalised him in favour of Staunton and Matteo. March 2010 P.S.: Thanks for the ratings/comments! It was my second video and I was still ignorant of some glaring fundamentals about editing :-p. Yay for "progress"!
