This is the adventure I always wanted to do. I drove 7+ hours to try to catch this fish, and on top of that, the conditions were less than ideal. I dealt with a snapped rod and broken center-pin reel, but I stuck it out and was able to catch my first-ever steelhead on the center-pin. This video is from day one of visiting Elk Creek, Trout Run, and finally getting it done on Walnut Creek. Overall, this was an adventure of a lifetime, and I will surely be back again.
