Please Subscribe! Player:Junglechief87 Expert Sphere Grid This segment has a couple of attempts at Neslug. Neslug is a stupid boss. He starts out fairly easy, he doesn't counter and Tidus can damage cap against him with a Miracle Drink. Neslug's attacks hit hard but he attacks seldom enough that sacrificial summons can take care of his attacks. Once Neslug curls up into his shell the real stupid part begins, Neslug starts with an Auto-Regen effect that varies wildly in healing range, it can heal anywhere from 100- ~999999, it's really random. The party has to get a little lucky with Neslugs healing rolls to make it through this phase. During this phase Neslug will also cast Curaga on itself but it can be silenced so that isn't really an issue and is immune to physical. All of my damage output has been dumped into physical up to this point so the best way for me to do non-physical damage is a little tricky. First I use Trio of 9999 on the females, Rikku, Lulu, Yuna, I do this because I want to make sure that my physical characters damage isn't nerfed when I go into the next phase. The females begin spamming Fire Gems, while characters take turns entrusting to Tidus whom spams Blitz Ace, currently my highest damage overdrive. Once I have pushed through this part of the fight, the last phase is the same as the first. Quick Hits and sacrificial summons finish the fight. Bosses in this segment include: Neslug Other important note for the arena include which of Rikku's Mixes are needed to survive the harder fights. Hyper Mighty G - gives the active party:Protect, Shell, Haste, and Auto-Life. Hyper Nul-All - gives the active party +25 to all stats, except HP/MP and puts every Elemental Nul Spell on the party. Miracle Drink - gives the active party the ability for every attack to be a critical, basically 2x damage. Another note I set everyone to Comrade Overdrive Mode, basically one character takes a tone of damage and the other two get a full Overdrive.
