Turkish forces pursue assault around border towns in NE Syria

Turkish forces are pressing ahead with their military offensive in northeastern Syria. Two border towns were targeted with fresh shelling on Sunday. Fierce fighting has been taking place around the border town of Ras al Ai. This comes as Ankara's assault against Kurdish militia enters its fifth day. Washington has warned of fresh sanctions in response to Turkey's incursion in Syria.
