Tax refunding suspension | Taxman suspends payment of tax reliefs and incentives

The Kenya Revenue Authority has halted payment of tax refunds amounting to 610 billion shillings with immediate effect to pave way to an audit of the tax refund claims. KRA Chairman Anthony Mwaura says the decision to suspend the payments is aimed at enhancing ongoing processes related to the payment of tax refunds, exemptions and waivers.
