Saving Sea Otter Pup 696: Bottle Feeding
The first order of business once pup 696 is safely settled at the Aquarium is building up his weight and strength. Adult sea otters eat 25-30% of their body weight per day, so imagine how often a growing pup needs to eat! Staff and volunteers feed him for several hours every day.
