Onboard 110mph Crash Lotus Elise Craner Curves Donington (100mph impact)

Sobering video of what can happen if you have a toe link failure (suspected) on one of the most daunting corners in the world, the Craner Curves at Donington Park. The car broke away at 110mph and within 2 secs the car had hit the concrete wall at 100mph. Thankfully the impact as mainly rear and the driver only suffered a none serious shoulder injury and slight concussion. He will be back in a race car, no doubt "fully lit" in a week or so. Such is the recovery ability and the mental strength of 17 year old Ryan Savage. Thanks must be given to the Donington Safety team and Medics who attended to Ryan at the scene.
